Please take a look at the new stunning papier mache cross range. These have all been remade to a thicker depth allowing a deeper bead, Cabachon or embellishment. The new frames are hand made from oak and are selected for quality. These will make an original gift which will become an heirloom. There are designs to suit many different tastes.

When choosing your framed prayer, I  have written a truly original and unique Guardian Angel Prayer for the occasion which would be suitable for First Holy Communion, birth, baptism, confirmation or other event.

Papier Mache Cross

To commission a papier mache cross as a communion present or baptism gift, there are several options. Either a framed cross with my guardian angel prayer or your choice of prayer or a beautiful hand decorated hanging papier mache crucifix with the design of your choice.

Suitable for both boys and girls as shown above, you can choose your style to suit the recipient's style. In the frames are Green Cabachon, Pink Vine and Turquoise and gold wave. There are many other styles available and I am more than happy to develop my range to suit your requests.

The new hand made oak frames come with a bevel edged cream mount. These have been commissioned specially and are more substantial and finished than my previous frames. All dried flowers are from my garden and I will use whatever has the brightest colours and is in the best condition from my flower press. They may vary from original in style. Each crucifix is made to order so styles, shapes and colours may vary. Either choose one of my designs with glass bead or dried flower or suggest your own design and colouring.

These crucifixes make a lovely first communion present and are also entirely suitable as christening, communion or confirmation presents for boys or girls. These framed prayers with papier mache sculpted cross range from £27.50 to £31.50 with £3.50 for packing and postage within UK by first class signed for Royal Mail.

For a small extra cost any frame can be gift wrapped in either black paper with Celtic gold symbols or lilac paper with silver skeleton leaf design. These gift wraps are quality Kraft papers with curling ribbons in matching colours. Pictures of gift wrap available on the shopping cart.

Crosses can be made to hang loose without a frame.
These crosses can be hung up in a room or on your bed head.  All crosses come wrapped in tissue & ribbon. They incorporate a wire hook and raffia for hanging. These are about 7 cm long. Unframed crosses are £18.50 - £21.50 including first class post UK delivery.

Crosses can also be set on driftwood or boxed in a diorama. Prices on driftwood £35.00 including postage. Dioramas start at £55.00. Please enquire by email if this interests you.

Crucifix Necklaces

I have searched the world looking for tasteful religious gifts and found these very charming crucifix pendant necklaces.  Currently, most of these are in stock and available for immediate delivery. All crosses come with a chain or thong and box or organza drawstring bag.  There are many styles of cross to suit all tastes and budgets. From boy's Celtic and natural stone crosses on thongs to hand enamelled flowers and Millefiori beads on gold or silver chains.

There are some really unusual and beautiful crosses which come in a myriad of different materials and colours which would make the perfect first holy communion gift. Angels

Here is the miniature papier mache framed angel and prayer. All you need to do is to select your design from the options on the crucifix page and choose or give me a prayer for the frame. There is a prayer selection link below to help you. I  have several prayers you can choose from but I am happy to include any prayer that is special to you or your family. Price includes a personalised message and gift tag.

It is also possible to have a framed exclusive guardian angel prayer with an angel picture for £18.00  plus postage. This angel picture can be blue, purple, pink or turquoise.

Perhaps you would prefer a papier mache guardian angel to watch over and guide your communicant or new born. Watercolours

A personalised watercolour may be just what you would like to give for your communion gift. These can have the child's name and the date hand scribed at the base as shown below. These come in a bevel edged mount. They can be framed on request.
A personalised message can be made for the reverse. Each watercolour comes with a biography of the artist and is hand signed.
