Papier Mache Cross

To commission a papier mache cross as a communion present or baptism gift, there are several options. Either a framed cross with my guardian angel or your choice of prayer or a beautiful hand decorated hanging papier mache crucifix with the design of your choice.

Suitable for both boys and girls as shown above, you can choose your style to suit the recipient's style. In the frames are Blue Diagonal and Purple bead.

There are many other styles available and I am more than happy to develop my range to suit your requests.

The frames may vary in size dependent on what I have in stock and which prayer you require. All dried flowers are from my garden and I will use whatever has the brightest colours and is in the best condition from my flower press. They may vary from original in style. Each crucifix is made to order so styles, shapes and colours may vary.

These crucifixes make a lovely first communion present and are also entirely suitable as christening, communion or confirmation presents for boys or girls.

These framed Guardian Angel Prayers with papier mache sculpted cross are £26.50 including first class post to UK. The celtic shaped framed cross with prayer is priced at £28.00 including UK postage. The NEW Byzantine shaped crosses are £29.50. These are hand designed with 3 exclusive colourful designs and you can even pick your own personalised one off design.

For a small extra cost any frame can be gift wrapped in either black paper with celtic gold symbols or lilac paper with silver skeleton leaf design. These gift wraps are quality kraft papers with curling ribbons in matching colours. Pictures of gift wrap available on request.

Crosses can be made to hang loose without a frame.
These crosses can be hung up in a room or on your bed head.  All crosses come wrapped in tissue & ribbon. They incorporate a wire hook and raffia for hanging. These are about 7 cm long. Unframed crosses are £17 including first class post UK delivery.

Crosses can also be set on driftwood or boxed in a diorama. Prices on driftwood £35.00 including postage. Dioramas are £55.00 for a similar commission. Please enquire by email if this interests you.

Crucifix Necklaces

I have searched the world looking for tasteful religious gifts and found these very charming crucifix pendant necklaces.  Currently, most of these are in stock and available for immediate delivery. All crosses come with a chain or thong and box or organza drawstring bag.

There are some really unusual and beautiful crosses which come in a myriad of different materials and colours which would make the perfect first holy communion gift. All crosses have a chain or leather thong and come wrapped in tissue with a box or gold organza pouch. Price includes first class post within the UK and cost between £10.50 and £14.50 each.

Angels

A new addition is a framed angel and prayer. This is available with Guardian Angel Prayer for £30.50 including UK First class postage. Price includes a personalised message and gift tag.

It is also possible to have a framed guardian angel prayer with an angel picture for £16.50  including first class UK Postage. This angel picture can be blue, purple, pink or turquoise.

A new addition is a framed angel and prayer. All you need to do is to select your design from the options on the crucifix page and choose or give me a prayer for the frame. There is a selection section below to help you. Either choose one of my designs with glass bead or dried flower or suggest your own design and colouring.  I  have several prayers you can choose from but I am happy to include any prayer that is special to you or your family.

Perhaps you would prefer a papier mache guardian angel to watch over and guide your communicant or new born. Papier mache angels start at £20.00 for a small angel unpackaged to about £28.00 for a 9" high standard angel boxed with message plus delivery.

The Complete Stained Glass Angel Range

The Archangel range is hand made from copper with durable multicoloured resin insets, adorned with solid glass coloured marbles, enamelled flowers, beads and crystals. These lovely angels catch the light in the day; they are also luminous and will glow at night to watch over you. You can hang them in a window, near a bed or just nearby to watch, protect and look after you.

The Bejewelled Angel range is beautiful collection of hand made different coloured stained glass angels made in The Jorvik Glassblowing studio.  These have been adorned with silver metal fretwork and would be an ideal christening, communion or confirmation gift.

The pretty and light catching hanging Guardian Angel range are hanging angels holding a wand and are made in beautiful pearly stained glass.  They are studded with crystals and faux gems and are attached to a natural raffia string for hanging.

Watercolours

A personalised watercolour may be just what you would like to give for your communion gift. These can have the child's name and the date hand scribed at the base as shown below. These can be mounted and/or framed or unframed as required. A personalised message can be made for the reverse.
