More Paper Anniversary Gifts

Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar

Here the client wanted two smaller tableaux of a multi destination honeymoon. These papier mache sculptures will hang side by side and provide a unique memory of a wonderful journey.

These actually did not cost much more than one tableau as there were no full figures involved which take the majority of the work.


"Tahiti Honeymoon" Set in a driftwood frame, this sculpture is for a couple who travelled to Tahiti for their honeymoon.	"Honeymoon in Maldives" This sums up, for many of us, our dream honeymoon. That bit of luxury that we may only experience once in a lifetime.

The response to these papier mache sculptures is overwhelming, comments such as,

"We decided to put the tableau on the wall of our bedroom so we see it last thing and first thing every day. Brilliant job from initial contact through to the finished article. "Castle of Dreams"

An American couple always wanted to travel to England one day, so the tableau was set in a dream venue. They wrote:

"Anita, you did a wonderful job I am especially proud of it; my husband is always coming up with the best gifts. I have never been able to match his creativity ... I could go on all day about how happy I am and how it turned out 100 times better than I could have ever imagined and I still don't know if I could put it all in words. thank you so much. you are a very talented artist." ~Jennifer

Did you have the holiday of a lifetime? Believe me, honeymoon and wedding destinations are often a once in a lifetime extraordinary holidays. So, why not commemorate your wedding or honeymoon by depicting the venue. These weddings and honeymoons have been captured in 3d papier mache for posterity. What better family heirloom can you have?

"Florence"

Set against a backdrop of the "Ponte Vecchio" this sculpture brought back some very special memories of a very romantic venue.

"Honeymoon In Seaview"

Based on a series of photos taken at this Isle of Wight yacht club venue, I was able to incorporate elements from 3 different photos to create a papier mache sculpture with the dog, sailing club and couple.

"Lochness Monster"

Relive a special memory or event. Set by Lochness, this tableau was created from a favourite photo. Commissioned to capture a wonderful honeymoon, the gift was given as a surprise and caused great hilarity. The couple love it and it was a really lovely memento to capture a special honeymoon holiday.

"Swimming with Dolphins"

Marc wrote
"I wanted something truly unique for our first (paper) anniversary and asked Anita to combine two images from our honeymoon in Tahiti. She was excellent and offered me a number of designs and kept me informed every step of the way and even finished it a week early! Both my wife and I were absolutely delighted and it now commands pride of place on our living room wall - Thanks Anita!!!"
